Can We Count On You? Part One

The goal of this course is to examine behavioral ethics and analyze innate biases by comparing certain individuals’ actions to the expected professional behavior outlined in the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice.

Through this program, you’ll assess two different case studies to consider and ultimately determine how working relationships have affected the decision-making process.

Participation in this facilitator-led workshop earns two (2) NASBA CPE credits.

Learning Objectives

After this session, attendees will be able to:

  • APPRAISE and become more familiar with the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice.
  • COMPARE various philosophies relating to behavioral ethics and values for decision making.
  • EXAMINE two examples of ethical situations that can occur at different phases of an individual’s career.
  • RECOGNIZE the purpose of a code of ethical conduct for professionals.
  • CONCLUDE the fairness and/or appropriateness of the ultimate outcomes.
